Easily accessible, inexpensive, and moisture-resistant calcium salts include calcium chloride dihydrate. Its performance as a chiral catalyst for different organic asymmetric processes has been assessed. To generate the synthetic brine solution and add calcium to DMEM (Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s media), calcium chloride dihydrate has been employed in cell culture research. It can be applied to the asymmetric reduction process and combined with sodium borohydride to create calcium-alginate beads. of 1-(2,2-dimethyl-4H-1,3-benzodioxin-6-yl) (2,2-dimethyl-4H-1,3-benzodioxin-6-yl) -2-[(1S)-2-hydroxy-1-phenylethylamino] ethanone to develop (1R) -1-(2,2-dimethyl-4H-1,3-benzodioxin-6-yl) -2-[(1S)-2-hydroxy-1-phenylethylamino] ethanol.
